They’ve developed a platform for promoting and translating expert knowledge on soil biodiversity into policy and land management.
  • World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms (WWOOF) organizes work exchange program in more than 60 countries, allowing would-be gardeners to learn organic and sustainable agricultural practices while travelling around the world.

Food Tank’s list of facts span a spectrum from the national to the global, including Chad, Chicago, Bosnia, Milwaukee, and Australia. Inspired by their having spread the word about worldwide innovations advancing the local good food and sustainability movements, we have decided to adapt their project on a local level. We believe this will be a valuable resource for food leaders in our community, developed by food leaders for our community, and an educational tool for all.
