Farmers Formal, the EarthDance annual farm-raiser, is approaching fast! We have been hard at work preparing for the event, which will feature a fabulous locavore feast prepared with fresh EarthDance produce, local libations, live music, and a bumper crop of auction items.

We hope you add this to your calendar: Farmers Formal: Benefit for EarthDance –

On the Farm

Oct Taste and TourJust weeks away from the big night (Save the Date!), one of the things we have enjoyed most about preparing for Farmers Formal has been the opportunity to bring people to the farm. Sunday, October 5th, we wrapped up a successful series of Taste & Tours, where over 70 guests joined us at the EarthDance campus for a tour, tasty small bites, and great conversation. Through these “Appetizer for Farmers Formal” events, we have welcomed over 140 people to the farm amid sunshine, rain, and even tree climbing adventures.

We are also pleased to present unique on-farm events up for auction this year at Farmers Formal, including a feast prepared by Chef Patrick Connolly of Basso, Spa Day, and Wild Fermentation Party, to name a few.

Help Us Grow Food, Farmers, and Community: Donations & Sponsorship

Farmers Formal enables EarthDance to train new farmers, provide farm tours to hundreds of school children each year, offer job training to youth, and donate produce to those in need.  We would be delighted if you would help support this event by either being a sponsor or donating to our auction.  In 2013, contributions to Farmers Formal helped us raise over $60,000 for our programs and outreach.  We have big plans for EarthDance in 2015—we want to reach our stretch goal of $100,000!

Sponsorship can range from the Seed Sower level ($750) to the Soilbuilder ($15,000).  Any amount will make a positive difference for the St. Louis region and the well-being of its residents.  We would love to work with your business as a corporate partner, helping us put the focus back on community, health and education in Ferguson.
